The Loftin family in Stayton recently moved back into their family home and asked Hueller Construction to do quite a bit of varied work to update it and bring it more to their current tastes. Some of the items we are helping them with include:
- New vinyl floors in kitchen, work areas and bathrooms
- Laminate floor and trim to approximately 1200 square feet of living space
- Many small repairs (ie hot water tank, deck, gutters, siding)
- Master bathroom overhaul. This project is in the design phase right now.
Here is a shot of hauling some of the laminate flooring to the jobsite. We will definitely use the bigger van next time!

Some more shots. Vinyl prep and the “sunken tub” before shot / master bath.
Sunken tub in demo mode. Little tip – don’t use particleboard around a wet area!
Nov 1 – we are ready for sheetrock. Framing, rough electric, rough plumbing, rough HVAC complete.
Nov 11 – Sheetrock to start tomorrow!
Sheetrock is done. Waiting on tile to get in. Window and painting soon.
Dec 16 – Off on other projects while waiting for tile to come in. Tile started today. The shower is getting a linear drain which should look very nice when completed.
Jan 2014 –
Custom tile shower in progress. Whole room is sloped with no threshold toward drain with floor heat underneath:
We are finally complete on the custom bathroom and tons of laminate flooring and trim in the home. Hueller Construction loved working on this project for the Loftin Family and hope we can help them out again in the future. Need to get our pro photographer here, I did not do this bathroom justice with my small digital!
