Sublimity Re-Roof

Yesterday we started a composition re-roof project in Sublimity, OR. Roofing is so much fun in warm weather, but in Oregon, we need to “make hay while the sun shines”.

Not a difficult or steep roof, but plenty of square footage for us (about 4000, or 40 squares, as they say in the roofing industry). We will be installing all new underlayment, flashings and converting to a continuous ridge vent, which cleans up some of the “clutter” on a roof.

The new shingle color will be Driftwood Grey, essentially the same as before. Roofing is not too glamorous in regards to photos – here is a before shot looking one direction.
