We have finished a large window installation project in Mill City, Oregon for the Hanna family. They have a large custom home on the river with beautiful views. The old windows were single pane aluminum which were very energy inefficient.
The new windows are Mercer vinyl units with dark brown exteriors. Several of the windows were changed to casement style to provide the necessary egress from the bedrooms.
There was lots of inside and outside trimwork to do on this project. We really enjoy finish carpentry, and who wouldn’t with views of the river like this:
We got some help from Derrick and the boys at Down’s Glass in Salem for the large fixed glass units at the front and back of the living room.
The owner will now get the trim painted on the inside and outside to blend the new units into the trim and siding.
I know the family is excited to have a cozier home for the window, and save on heating costs too!
